California Professional Firefighters Endorse Dr. Jasmeet Bains for Assembly

Today, Dr. Jasmeet Bains’ campaign for Assembly District 35 announced the endorsement of the California Professional Firefighters.

As a frontline healthcare provider, Dr. Bains has dedicated her life to protecting the health and safety of all Californians. In the Assembly, we know Dr. Bains will be one of our strongest partners to ensure firefighters and all public safety professionals have the resources they need to continue keeping Californians safe.”

With a membership of more than 30,000 frontline firefighters and paramedics, California Professional Firefighters (CPF) is the largest statewide organization dedicated exclusively to serving the needs of career firefighters. CPF is the officially chartered state council for the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), which represents more than 298,000 front line firefighters nationally.

The California Professional Firefighters are the latest in a wave of endorsement for Dr. Bains. From local leaders to organizations representing frontline health care workers, education leaders and others, Dr. Bains has continued to consolidate support from a broad bipartisan coalition.

The primary election will be held on June 7, 2022.
