Kern Law Enforcement Association Endorses Dr. Jasmeet Bains for Assembly

Today, Dr. Jasmeet Bains’ campaign for re-election to the 35th Assembly District announced the endorsement of the Kern Law Enforcement Association.

Tim Caughron, President of the Kern Law Enforcement Association, said: “The men and women of the Kern Law Enforcement Association are proud to endorse Dr. Jasmeet Bains for another term in the State Assembly. Dr. Bains has been an unrelenting advocate fighting for safer neighborhoods and an end to the fentanyl epidemic, and has been fearless in the battle against child trafficking to keep our most vulnerable safe. Her record is unmatched, and we stand firmly behind Dr. Bains for re-election.”

The Kern Law Enforcement Association (KLEA) was founded in 1974 and partners with the Kern County Sheriff and District Attorney to provide professional public safety services throughout Kern County.

Dr. Jasmeet Bains said: “It is an incredible honor to receive the support of the Kern Law Enforcement Association, whose members work each and every day to keep our families and communities safe. I’m looking forward to another term in the Assembly and building upon the important work we are doing together to ensure Kern County’s families can live in safe, thriving neighborhoods.”

KLEA’s endorsement comes fresh on the heels of the Democratic Legislative Women’s Caucus and the Peace Officers Research Association of California throwing their early support behind Dr. Bains’ re-election.

The Primary Election will be held on March 5, 2024.
