DELANO, CA – Today, Dr. Jasmeet Bains announced the endorsement of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and the 1.6 million employees it represents. They join a growing coalition of labor and union organizations in the Central Valley united behind Dr. Bains and her commitment to delivering opportunity and good-paying jobs for all.

“No one knows the needs of our communities better than the workers who keep them running every day,” said Dr. Jasmeet Bains. “I am honored to have earned the trust of the workers who care for our patients, keep our neighborhoods safe and clean, and make sure our families can access the services they depend on. In Congress, I’ll work side by side with AFSCME members to protect workers’ rights, strengthen services, and make sure working families always have a seat at the table.”
