Dr. Jasmeet Bains Raises $175,000 Since Launching Campaign for Congress
DELANO, CA – Today, Dr. Jasmeet Bains, a family and addiction physician, announced that her campaign to unseat David Valadao in California’s 22nd Congressional District has raised over $175,000 since launching less than a week ago.
“This early show of grassroots support is a powerful affirmation of our message: families across the Central Valley want real leadership on health care affordability and a representative with the courage to act,” said Dr. Bains. “We’re turning out everyday people — healthcare workers, parents, small-business owners, public servants — because they see a doctor who’s fought for them and will continue to fight for them in Congress. This fundraising milestone speaks to their trust that we can deliver real, accountable leadership from day one.”
Dr. Bains launched her campaign on July 16th, pledging to challenge incumbent Rep. David Valadao and focus on strengthening healthcare, expanding rural infrastructure, creating good paying jobs, and combatting the fentanyl epidemic.
These early numbers raised reflect a growing coalition of supporters and working families energized to elect someone who will fight for a healthier and more affordable Central Valley.
